After finding a charming pattern for stuffed teddy bears, I knew I wanted to make some. A friend of mine has 5 grandchildren under the age of five, and I made each of them a different teddy bear. My favorite flannel from eQuilter was a solid dark brown. I pre-washed and machine-dried all of the fabric, so it would hold up to hand-sewing. Each one seemed to develop its own personality, and felt unique! The solids are as sturdy as they are soft. The yarn-dyed plaids are stunning. The mottled fabrics and houndstooth designs are great, too!
