Forum Moderator: Dana Lacy Chapman, Ph.D.
Dana recently returned
to her native Colorado in 2005 and now works full time in Customer
Service at eQuilter.com.
She taught Clothing
Construction, Tailoring, Textiles and various Fashion courses at the
University of Akron in Ohio for 10 years during the 1980's.
Dana's quilts and
wearables have received national recognition with awards in juried and
judged competitions such as the Mid-Atlantic and Pacific International
Quilt Festivals, Quilts=Art=Quilts, Pennsylvania National Quilt
Extravaganza, Quilter's Heritage Celebration, the American Quilter's
Society Contest and Show, and The International Quilt Festival. She has
also had quilts in several art exhibitions.
She has appeared in the
Hobbs Fashion Show at the American Quilter's Society Contest and Show in
Paducah, KY. She was a designer for the 2005 Bernina Fashion Show,
Inspirations.
Dana's work has also
been published in "Quilter's Newsletter Magazine," "Through the Needle,"
"Quilting Quarterly," and "America from the Heart."
