This traditional design featuring ageless motifs, crests and stylized Japanese calligraphy, will be a very special addition to your stash of out of the ordinary fabrics due to the ancient use of a rice paste resist technique that was used to create the design. This technique, also called tsutugaki, means that rice paste is brushed through a stencil and the cloth is then dipped in a cold vegetable dye.
