As seen here, Celtics were famous for their intricate metalwork motifs that look like woven knots, scrolls and patterns that occasionally include stylized animal heads and bodies that add to add to the richness of their style. This hand painted knotted medallion indicates achieving peace within oneself and it is often used as a talisman, created by one continuous line forming four three-part triquetras which represent eternity, fidelity, and unity to a thought, person or idea.
