A gorgeous mask is accented with a colorful dragonfly, lush blossoms, and a decorative border. Fabric requirements: borders - 5/8 yd of black, 1/4 yd of green, 1/4 yd of bright green, 1/8 yd of olive, 1/8 yd of medium green, 1/4 yd of black/gold, 1/4 yd of dark plum, 1/8 yd of bright multi, 1/8 yd of green/black, 1/8 yd of dark multi; binding - 1/3 yd of bright multi; backing - 1 yd; mask - 1/4 yd of gold, headdress - 1/4 yd of medium green, swirls - 1/3 yd of teal green batik, details - 1/8 yard or large scraps of various shades of coral, red, green, blue, purple, and yellow. Additional materials needed: silver metallic floss or thread; lightweight batting - 46" x 36"; lightweight fusible web - 2 yds; applique pressing sheet; stabilizer; and an assortment of threads.
