Designed for satin stitch finish, the pattern can be adapted to raw edge appliqué, or needle turn. Fabric requirements include:1 1/2 yd for background; 7/8 yd for sashing; 1/2 yd for inner border; 3/8 yd for outer border; brown scraps for heels/soles; coordinating scraps for 16 boots (each boot take 2-3 fabrics); 2 yds for backing; 1 1/2 yd of fusible web; lightweight stabilizer or tissue paper.
