This painterly panel features Mt. Fujiyama set behind a historical Japanese town with a torii gate, people dressed in traditional clothing, and architectural buildings we associate with the Japanese culture. Originally, the Japanese were influenced by Chinese architecture from the Tang Dynasty, but because of many unique differences in topography indigenous to Japan, dynamic changes in design have been passed along throughout the long history of this beloved country. 24" panel, tallest family member is about 10 3/4", 'Miyamairi' from the 'Asian' collection by Michael Miller Fabrics. A portion of the proceeds from this collection will be donated to Japanese earthquake relief.
