Sashiko is the traditional Japanese technique of needlework quilting that uses a simple running stitch to create beautifully decorative patterns ideal for patchwork. Pre-printed 6" x 6" squares are tossed on the grid background creating a sense of movement and energy. You can stitch the fabric as is or cut out individual squares and use them on clothing, bags, pillows, quilting and many other home accessories with eQuilter sashiko threads and needles. Silver pre-printed lines will wash out in cold water leaving the fabric soft and ready for you next project. Midweight 100% cotton, deep indigo, imported from Japan, about 43" wide, pre-printed squares are about 6" x 6".
