Kimono Blossom - Raw Edge Appliqué Pattern US $15.95 |
Finished Size - 16" x 16" Hanami, or flower viewing, is the Japanese custom of enjoying the transitory beauty of flowers. Traditionally, it is the viewing and celebration of cherry (sakura) or plum (ume) blossoms in the spring - along walkways, rivers, shrines and gardens, in parks and castle grounds. This original and serene pattern shows a woman in her lovely kimono, taking a stroll to enjoy the season of renewal. The pattern and instructions offer options for the beginner/intermediate quilter, and suggestions to challenge the more advanced quilter as well. Designed for a raw edge appliqué, it can also be adapted to needle turn. Kimono Blossom quilt pattern by Mochi Mochi Fiber Arts, finished size is about 16" x 16". |
