Inspired by the simple elegance of 1940's fashions but with a modern twist, this pattern for a practical shoulder bag offers a choice of straps and a pleated or plain flap. The bag has a deep bucket shape constructed with darts at the base, and a shaped front pocket which doubles to create an interior pocket. Now you can keep all your stuff with you and look great doing it! Materials include: 1 1/4 yd 44" wide fabric for exterior; 1 yd 44" wide lining fabric; 3/4 yd 36" wide interfacing; magnetic snap closure.
