Candy Cane stripes and Holly Branches circle the border of this wonderful Santa wall hanging. Packages are stacked on his back and a grand, flowing beard circles his jolly face. Done in raw edge, fusible appliqué technique, it is quick to assemble. His face is easy to do by tracing the drawing included and following our simple directions. Lots of great quilting hints are included, plus a great close-up photo for reference. Fabric requirements include: 2/3 yd for background; 1/4 yd for face; 1/4 yd each of 3 fabrics for beard; 1/2 yd of white for beard and candy cane stripes; 2/3 yd of red for suit, berries, candy cane stripe and hand; 1/8 yd of gold for packages; 1/8 yd of white or cream for fur; 1/4 yd of brown for glove and holly stems; 3/4 yd of Lt green for border and packages; 1/4 yd of Dk green for holly leaves and packages; 1/4 yd for binding; 1 yd for backing; 44" x 36" of thin batting; 3-5 yds of Steam a seam II; white and black acrylic paint; black and brown pigma .01 markers; blush-on makeup for face color; prismacolor colored pencils; pressing sheet for appliqué; magic tape; and a variety of matching sewing and quilting threads.
