Have fun picking out colorful fabrics when you use this wonderful wall quilt featuring a beautiful geisha wearing a kimono and an obi, while holding a parasol. Done with a raw edge, fusible appliqué technique, it is quick to assemble. The face details are easily done by tracing the drawing included and following the simple instructions. Lots of great quilting hints and a great close-up for reference are also included! Fabric requirements include: 2/3 yard for background; 1/2 yard for outside parasol; 1/4 yard each for inside parasol, face, hands, hair, obi and obi bow; 1/2 yard for kimono; a variety of fabrics that are no larger than 1/8 yard; 1/4 yard for inside border; 1/2 yard for outside border; 1/3 yard for binding; 1 yard for backing; thin batting approximately 44" x 36"; 3-5 yards of Steam-a-Seam II; Teflon pressing sheet; acrylic paint, permanent markers and colored pencils.
