This sampler has four blocks featuring different butterflies and some of their favorite plants: pentas, milkweed, butterfly bush, and coneflowers. Using fusible appliqué, the pattern also includes a special butterfly quilting motif. Fabric requirements include: 1/2 yd block centers; 3/4 yd block edges; 1/3 yd block sashing; 1/8 yd sashing and border cornerstones; 1/2 yd outside border; 3/8 yd binding; 2 1/2 yd for pieced backing; assorted fabrics for appliqué; FQ for greens and black.
