Using the winning combination of a large scale feature print and areas of strip piecing, this quilt gives you the best of both worlds. Take care to match the solid you use for the strips to the background of your feature print. Fabric Requirements: 2 1/4 yd feature print; 2 1/4 yd of matching solid; 1/4 yd each of 8 different prints for strip piecing; 5 1/2 yds for backing pieced lengthwise, or 3 3/4 yds for backing pieced widthwise; 1/2 yd for binding; 68" x 80" of quilt batting.
