Lite Steam-A-Seam2 is ideal for multiple layer appliqués, especially on clothing and quilts. The bond is strong and permanent, yet leaves your fabric soft and supple, even with several layers of appliqué. Lite Steam-A-Seam2 is exactly like the Steam-A-Seam2 that everyone's stuck on, just a lighter version. Both are unique fusible webs that have pressure sensitive coating on both sides allowing for a temporary hold until you fuse it down permanently with your household steam iron. Only one fusing step is required when your project is done, taking all the mistakes out of appliqué. The bond is truly permanent and finishing the edges with sewing, painting, or fabric glue is not necessary, but if you decide you want to sew through it, go right ahead, Lite Steam-A-Seam2 won't gum up your needle. Lite Steam-A-Seam2 is washable, dryable and dry cleanable, so you can use it with a wide variety of fabrics and laces, Lite Steam-A-Seam2 really takes the heat. Don't be afraid to overheat it. Your fabric will scorch before the Lite Steam-A-Seam2's bond is compromised. Sold by the package of 5 sheets.
