This certified, 100% organic cotton thread is the first of its kind. Used as all-purpose sewing thread for your hand and machine piecing and quilting. Wonderful to use with organic cotton fabrics like sheeting, sherpa, fleece and terrycloth. Organic cotton has shorter fibers and therefore this is not as strong as YLI machine quilting thread - this 23 wt / 3 ply thread is a heavier weight so adjust your tension, use a bigger needle, sew a little slower, and use on your special garments (for baby?) and quilts with our organic cottons! 100% Certified Organic Heavyweight Cotton Thread from YLI, 1500 yard spool.
