Finished Size - 21" x 14"
The small egret, or Sagi in Japanese, is actually a white heron and can be seen at water's edge in a 'strategic fishing' solitary dance. The egret symbolizes stillness and patience, and the lotus (hasu) represents rising above adversity. Both are peacefully depicted in this original ans serene art quilt pattern. The pattern and instructions offer options for the beginner/intermediate quilter, and suggestions to challenge the more advanced quilter as well. Designed for a raw edge appliqué, it can also be adapted to needle turn. Lotus Life quilt pattern by Mochi Mochi Fiber Arts, finished size is about 21" x 14".
