One lovely lupine grows in a lush field, happy to be visited by a shimmering dragonfly. This idyllic scene can be created with fusible appliqué techniques and turned into an inviting wall hanging, or used as the center of a garden themed quilt. Material requirements include: 1/2 yd background, border and binding; 5/8 yd each batting and backing; 1 yd fusible web; Angelina Fibers for dragonfly wings; 1/8 yd (3) different fabrics for petals; 1/3 yd grass; 1/4 large leaves; 1/8 (4) different fabrics for leaves and stalks; scraps for dragonfly. 'Lupine' quilt pattern by Dana Verrengia of Wildfire Designs Alaska, finished size is about 16 1/2" x 27".
