As the Calico kitty looks into the water, it is wondering - is this her reflection or a snack! This pattern was designed for raw edge appliqué, but it can be adapted to needle turn as well. Fabric requirements include: 1/8 yd for the sky, 1/8 yd for greenery, 1/16 yd for lotus flower, 5" x 12" for cat/koi, 1/6 yd for water, 1/8 yd for water highlights, 4" x 12" for cat/koi/lotus blossom center, 5" x 15" of taupe for rock, 6" x 12" of grey for rock, 1/4 yd of white for cat/koi, 1/8 yd for inner border, 7/8 yds for outer border/binding/backing, 20" x 28" of bleached muslin, 20" x 28" of batting, 2 1/2 yds of fusible web, applique pressing sheet, 18" x 26" of clear vinyl.
