Honey bees hover around their hive and dandelion patch in this fusible applique quilt. Notice how the designer cleverly quilted the background leaving a classic hexagon shape containing the appliques. Complete instructions include directions for a matching pillow. Fabric requirements for a quilt: applique - 2 fat quarters of yellow and white prints, 4 fat quarters or 1/4 yd of blue, dark gray, medium gray and light gray prints each; 1 3/4 yds of 90" wide muslin; 4 yds for backing; 1 3/4 yds of 90" wide batting; 2 1/2 yds of fusible web. Fabric requirements for a pillow: 1 fat quarter, 1/2 yd for background, 1/2 yd for backing, 18" x 18" of batting, 1/4 yd of fusible web and 16" x 16" pillow form.
