Transport yourself to the verdent forests of Hawaii. Walk among the
tropical fruit and nut trees. Now imagine how you would symbolically express
this exotic flora. Here is the pattern for you The very essence of the
Lychee, Lilikoi, Mokihana, Ohelo, Pineapple, Coconut, and Macadamia are
presented for your quilting pleasure. To make a 21" finished block you will
need a 17" square for applique fabric, a 22" square for background fabric,
and a 22' square of backing fabric. To place the applique design "on point"
use a 30" square for the background and backing. Use the finished pieces for
tote bags, pillows, place mats, or wall hangings. Think of 101 more uses.
