Angelina Fiber is a unique, very fine 10 denier fiber It is incredibly luminescent and has an extremely soft hand. Imagine diamond-like dew drops on a spider's web or the iridescence of butterfly wings! Angelina comes in multiple colors that can be mixed and bonded as a glistening, shimmering, colorful accent to any project. The heat bondable Angelina Hot Fix fiber will bond only to itself, not to paper, other fabric or your ironing board. These fibers are polyester which makes them washable (gentle hand washing is recommended), dryable (lay flat to dry), and dry cleanable. Heat bonding instructions: Simply place a small amount of Angelina fiber between two sheets of tissue paper, tracing paper or parchment. Heat dry iron to "silk" temperature setting. Approximate bonding temperature is around 225 degrees Fahrenheit. Gently, with little pressure, move the iron back and forth, for a few seconds, checking frequently on the bonding progress by lifting the top paper. If it has not bonded, either iron it again or increase the temperature on your iron. Be careful not to heat the Angelina fiber or use too much pressure as this may change the color and dull the sparkle. Sold by the 0.5 oz bag, Heat Bondable Angelina Fiber - Mint Sparkle.
