Use this pattern to create your own version of Caryl Bryer Fallert's quilt. This dynamic pattern design features a striking abstract motif formed by curving, swirling lines. The 18" center applique can be cut from painted or print fabric, and appliqued to a square of black or dark fabric. This pattern may be used for either hand or machine applique. Instructions for machine applique are included. Materials needed for one quilt: one fat quarter of multicolored fabric; one fat quarter of black or very dark fabric; one half yard paper backed fusible web; 1/2 yard or larger for backing fabric and optional hanging sleeve; one 18" or larger square of batting or fusible fleece. 'Spirals & Crescents' pattern by Caryl Bryer Fallert of Bryerpatch Studio. Pattern for center applique is 18".
