<\/a><\/p>\nIn my QA TV segment, I show the fundraiser fabric collection "Urban Textures" for SAQA (Studio Art Quilt Association). Susan Brubaker-Knapp was enthusiastic on her first day of the shoot in her new role as Quilting Arts TV host. I felt it was such an honor to work with her on that first day!<\/p>\n
Last year we put out a call to SAQA members for artwork to be considered for a fabric collection which would be produced by Andover Fabrics. From 209 entries, we chose 6 artists' work to be translated into a collection of 18 pieces.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n You can see the collection on the Andover website at:<\/p>\n http:\/\/andoverfabrics.com\/Grid.php?GroupName=Urban%20Textures<\/p>\n The 6 artists are:<\/p>\n Elizabeth Brandt<\/p>\n Martha Ressler<\/p>\n Janice Paine Dawes<\/p>\n Laura Wasilowski<\/p>\n Shandra Belknap<\/p>\n Linda Egstrom<\/p>\n Congratulations to the 6 winning artists, and many thanks to all of the artists who submitted the original 209 artworks.<\/p>\n This collection was created to be a fundraiser for SAQA, so all royalties from the sale of this collection will go directly 100% to SAQA.<\/p>\n http:\/\/www.saqa.com\/<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Be sure to check out the next blog on the Quilting Arts Blog hop.
