There are two very important days coming up this week. <\/p>\n

The first one is on Monday April 7 –
No Housework Day<\/a>. <\/p>\n

I am not making this up!<\/a> <\/p>\n

All you quilters and sewing fans know what to do now – get ready to stitch like crazy in all your extra free time on Monday! <\/p>\n

Monday is also Coffee Cake Day & National Beer Day, just in case you need to think of another way to avoid housework. <\/p>\n

The other important day is Tuesday. <\/p>\n

It is Paul's mother's 90th birthday. <\/p>\n

We want to wish Grandma Frieda a wonderful birthday, and many more! <\/p>\n

I want to mention a couple details about upcoming trips – hoping to see some of you in my travels: <\/p>\n

If you are going to the SAQA<\/a> Conference in the DC area May 1-4, I will be giving a presentation on the first evening, about the Urban Textures collection and contest, which was developed with Andover Fabrics. eQuilter is also sponsoring the Artist Speed-Dating event that night! <\/p>\n

If you are going to Quilt Canada<\/a> in St Catherine's near Niagara Falls, I will be at the award ceremony on Tuesday night June 10, and tentatively giving an eye candy power point on international quilt shows, at lunchtime Weds June 11… details to follow! <\/p>\n

(If anyone wants to get together on that Mon or Tues to tour the local area, send me an email!) <\/p>\n
