Aloha! <\/p>\n

Here's a bright fun little Mid-Winter break from all the snow and ice and generally lousy weather that many of you are dealing with. It got up to 76 degrees in Boulder yesterday – wish I could send you some of our weather! *smile* <\/p>\n

A week ago I was in Hawaii<\/a> visiting family on the way back from the New Zealand<\/a> quilt convention, and the last morning before my flight I just walked along the beach<\/a> and took a bunch of photos. <\/p>\n

This was one of my favorites – a Japanese boy who was so excited about the surfers<\/a> coming ashore! <\/p>\n

I just love fabrics with themes of the ocean<\/a>, the tropics<\/a>, sealife and seashells<\/a>, island flowers<\/a> and ukuleles<\/a>. We go out of our way to stock special fabrics with surfers<\/a> and hula girls<\/a>, views of Diamondhead<\/a> and other Hawaiiana<\/a>. If you've been there, you know what I mean<\/a>. Ahhh, I can smell the coconut oil already! <\/p>\n
