Oh gosh, it is so hard to be missing the Tokyo Quilt Festival<\/a> this weekend, but that was a conscious decision to go to the quilt convention in New Zealand this year. I have a friend who is going to share some photos with me so I will share them with you in the near future! <\/p>\n

Now that the holidays are behind us and I am looking for the color and fabric trends of 2015, guess how I started out the year? Placing orders for Christmas\/Winter collections<\/a> for 2015! Yes this week I sat down with sales reps and ordered lots of holiday fabrics that will arrive this spring and summer. It is always so surreal to be buying next Christmas' designs a few weeks after putting away all the holiday decorations. Just one of the funny things about this business!<\/p>\n

Just a Heads-Up – this week I have a Bernina tech guy coming to my studio to do a tuneup on my Artista 200 so I can offer it for sale with a warranty and free classes at my local Bernina shop. This is the machine on which I made my 2nd and 3rd Bernina Fashion Show ensembles<\/a>, so there is some history on this great machine<\/a>!
