\nMany thanks to Bonnie McCaffery for filming and editing our videos again.<\/p>\n

This year our 5 videos focus on the amazing artists of our quilting world:<\/p>\n

Marianne Williamson was a featured artist in Houston, and we want to feature her as well. Her new book<\/a> is in stock, and we also carry many of her favorite threads including the gorgeous variegated Oliver Twist thread line<\/a>.<\/p>\n

As you know we love the organization SAQA (Studio Art Quilt Associates) – we’ve interviewed their artists<\/a> and collaborated on a fundraiser collection by SAQA artists<\/a>, with Andover Fabrics.<\/p>\n

This year we have 2 videos that start off in the SAQA exhibit – the Animal-themed video (please note the SAQA companion catalog<\/a> is in stock now!)- and the People\/Portraits video.<\/p>\n

We are also excited to have interviewed the organizer of the National Parks exhibit – Donna Desoto. (she is also the author of the upcoming book on this exhibit)<\/p>\n

Lastly we take a sneak peek at just a few of the Japanese quilts in Houston this year. Watch for my visit to the Tokyo Quilt Festival in January 2016, or check out my previous photo albums from past Tokyo Quilt Festivals<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Registrations for my tour to Cuba are now OPEN<\/a> and we expect the trip to fill FAST so don’t delay if you want to be on the first tour which will be May 8-15, 2016.<\/p>\n
