Nineteenth Century Naturalists<\/a> were fascinated with the beauty and the science of the Aviary world, and sought to preserve their observations with exquisitely detailed drawings and paintings.<\/p>\n

It is obvious that this collection is inspired by those Naturalists, and this 63″ x 63″ quilt<\/a> is an homage to those early explorers who chased these tiny jewel-like birds, hoping for a glimpse of
\ntheir shimmering feathers among the blossoms<\/a> full of nectar.<\/p>\n
