I’ve uploaded many photos of quilts from the Festival of Quilts in Birmingham UK<\/a>, so you can see what quilters in the UK and across Europe are dreaming up this year.<\/span><\/p>\n

The collage above features one of my favorite quilts from Birmingham, with a rainbow of appliqued blossoms emanating from a central star. Jean Corbridge made this quilt – aptly titled “My English Country Garden”. I’ve added several floral prints around the border of the collage, to give you some ideas of how flower fabrics can be combined. Here in Colorado despite the heavy smoke obscuring our view of the mountains (from the West Coast fires) we are still enjoying the bounty of late summer, with vegetable gardens, peach orchards and flower fields yielding armloads of color and baskets of harvest.<\/p>\n

In case you missed our big announcement<\/a>, we have built a new building from the dirt up, and will be moving by mid-September. It is a very busy and exciting time for us here at eQuilter.<\/p>\n
