\u2014 Doctors without Borders<\/em>. Staffers with the medical relief organization remain in Ukraine and are “seeking ways to respond to the medical and humanitarian needs as the conflict evolves.” Offer support here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2014 ICRC.<\/em> The Swiss-based organization is supporting the work of the Ukrainian Red Cross in helping those impacted by the war. Donate to the ICRC<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2014 Keep Ukraine\u2019s Media Going<\/em> is a GoFundMe campaign for journalists around Ukraine that also aims to help reporters relocate and continue their work from neighboring countries. Donations can be made here<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here are some ways to help Ukrainian citizens including recommendations from journalists<\/a> on the ground in Ukraine:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you want to donate medical supplies<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Razom for Ukraine<\/a>: Razom, meaning \u201ctogether\u201d in Ukrainian, is a volunteer charity organization that was originally founded in 2014 to support Ukrainians after Russia annexed Crimea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fundraiser for Sunflower of Peace<\/a>: Sunflower of Peace\u2019s fundraiser aims to provide first-aid backpacks to paramedics and doctors on the front lines. Each backpack contains enough tactical first-aid supplies for five to ten people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Revived Soldiers Ukraine<\/a>: This nonprofit provides medical aid to Ukrainian soldiers and provides support to their families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Medical Teams International<\/a>: This humanitarian aid agency is deploying a team to Ukraine and working with partners to deliver critical medical supplies to those on the ground.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To help children affected by the war<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Voices of Children<\/a>: This organization helps provide psychological and psychosocial support to Ukrainian children affected by armed conflict.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Save the Children:<\/a> Based in the U.K., Save the Children has created a Ukraine crisis-relief fund that\u2019s getting food, water, hygiene kits, cash, and psychosocial support to children and families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ChildFund International<\/a>: Founded in 1983, ChildFund offers international financial support to children in need. Donate to their German organization, ChildFund Deutschland<\/a>, which is providing emergency-aid kits to children and families in Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To support journalists in Ukraine<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Kyiv Independent<\/a>: You can support Ukraine\u2019s English-language media outlet through GoFundMe<\/a> or via Patreon<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To support refugees<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Global Empowerment Mission<\/a>: In conjunction withBStrong<\/a>, this organization is running a welcome center at the Poland-Ukraine border.They\u2019re using their funds to facilitate the influx of refugees to Poland, paying for flights and trains to relocate anyone who can\u2019t find housing in Poland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Humanity & Inclusion:<\/a> This global organization supports individuals and refugees from conflict-stricken areas, especially those with physical injuries and disabilities and the elderly. Their Ukraine appeal fund<\/a> will help deliver emergency aid to refugees displaced by the conflict.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To support BIPOC and LGBTIQ+ refugees<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Coalition to Support Black People in Ukraine<\/a> is a fundraiser that aims to help Black people facing racism and being turned back as they try to flee the country. Funds will go toward paying relocation fees and connecting Black refugees with their families, as well as food and other practical supplies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

OutRight International<\/a>: The nongovernmental organization addresses human-rights violations against the LGBTIQ community. You can donate to their Ukraine fundraiser here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

QUA<\/a>: QUA-LGBTQ is an organization connecting LGBTQ Ukrainians LGBTQ with allies in the United States. Your donations<\/a> will go toward emergency support for the Ukrainian LGBTQ community in conflict-stricken areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Donate to Nova Ukraine<\/a>\u2019s Heart2Heart initiative, which assembles care packages for people in Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Donate to the International Committee of the Red Cross<\/a>, which will provide humanitarian relief to Ukrainians affected by the conflict.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Donate to CARE\u2019s Ukraine Crisis Fund<\/a>, which aims to provide food, water, hygiene kits, and more to Ukrainians, especially women and girls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Donate to International Medical Corps<\/a>, which will deploy mobile medical teams to provide emergency and primary health services, including psychosocial services, to conflict-affected Ukrainian communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 <\/strong>Donate to GlobalGiving\u2019s Ukraine Crisis Relief Fund<\/a>, which funnels funds to humanitarian support in Ukraine, including shelter, food, and clean water for refugees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Donate to Mercy Corps<\/a>, a global humanitarian group whose Humanitarian Response Fund is sending emergency cash and supplies to people throughout Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Donate to People in Need<\/a>, a Czech group that responds to an emergency help line by sending trucks loaded with nonperishable food, hygiene products, sleeping bags, and other items to any location that requests aid. PIN is also setting up sites at the border to help refugees cross safely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Donate to Americares<\/a>, which has deployed an emergency response team<\/a> to Poland with medical support for Ukrainian refugees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Donate to World Central Kitchen<\/a>, which is working to serve fresh meals to Ukrainian refugees, as well as Ukrainians remaining in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To help ANIMALS affected by the war:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Donate to International Fund for Animal Welfare<\/a> (IFAW), which is raising money to aid shelter staff and animals in disaster zones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

UAnimals<\/a> is a Ukrainian animal rights organization helping in the country, and you can donate to their cause on their website<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PETA<\/a> is working hard to help people and animals in Ukraine, and you can donate to them on their website<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
