This week we are featuring the brilliant artwork of Daniel Ramirez<\/a><\/strong>, with indigenous fancy shawl dancers. If you have ever gone to a Native American PowWow, you may have seen this rhythmic dancing with flashy embroidered shawls and ribbonwork. The dance represents the butterfly emerging from a cocoon, with the fringe swinging to the beat of the dancers.

To make this 50″ x 50″ quilt design<\/a><\/strong>, you will be piecing the stripe and allover dancer prints, with alternating Sky Blue and Black backgrounds, layered with solid Kona Black to create
