It is my last night here in England, and I am looking over all the photos I took in the last week. In addition to my time at the Festival of Quilts, I’ve spent a few days in the countryside with friends. There is something very restful about sleeping with the window open, and hearing sheep baa-ing and birds twittering…and nothing else.

I am posting photos from my castle and museum visits, on my personal Facebook page<\/a>, in case you want to have a look.

Today I was at the Worcester Cathedral where I took this photo of the floor tiles. You may find it an inspiration for a quilt design. I’ve added the ‘Strawberry Thief’ William Morris fabric print<\/a>, which I think goes very nicely! I’m exhausted, so I am going to sleep early, and getting up early to catch my flights home. I’ll be sharing photos from the quilt festival soon.
