Happy Mothers Day
There are many ways to celebrate Mothers Day. A new baby brings the joy and excitement of a First Mothers Day. A multi-generational celebration may bring a grandmother, a mother, and grandchildren together.
As our children grow up and move out, and perhaps we have lost our own mothers or grandmothers, Mothers Day may be wistful and bittersweet. However the love we received from our mothers, grandmothers, or the mother figures in our stories
... lives on in how we go through life and how we love others. And so often each of these scenarios are accompanied by a quilt. A gift we receive. A gift we make. A gift we treasure and then pass on to the next generation.
A mother's love lives on in the quilts she makes.
