Material requirements include: (2) 5/8 yd pieces for background water and waves; 1/4 yd for waves; 1/4 yd for sand; (2) 1/4 yd pieces for dogs; assorted scraps or 1/8 yd cuts for appliqués; 1/8 yd for inner borders; 1/4 yd for middle borders; 1/8 yd for cornerstones; 7/8 yd for outer borders and binding; 1 yd for backing; 36" x 36" batting; 2 yds of 12" wide lightweight fusible web.
