A beautiful and simple pattern for two different sized tote bags. This is a great project to use pre-cut 2-1/2" strips from your stash. Material requirements include: Small - 1-1/4 yds fabric OR (16) 2-1/2" x 42" strips; 1 yd for binding, bottom & handles; 1 yd double-sided fusible batting; 1 yd double-sided fusible stiff interfacing; 5 feet plastic tubing for handles; 3/4 yd non-fusible stiff interfacing for handles; embellish with large or small buttons; Large - 3-3/4 yds fabric OR (37) 2-1/2" x 55" strips; 1 yd for binding, bottom & handles; 2-1/2 yds double-sided fusible batting; 1 yd double-sided fusible stiff interfacing; 5 feet plastic tubing; 3/4 yd non-fusible stiff interfacing; embellish with large or small buttons.
