Material requirements include: (3) fat eighths in assorted colors and prints for the sea lion; (2) 1/8 yd pieces of yellow fabric for sun; 18 assorted buttons for sun; assorted beads for embellishment around sun; (1) fat quarter for background & border; 1/8 yd for accent strip; 1/4 yd for border; 1/8 yd fabric and assorted scraps for pieced border; 1/2 yd fabric for borders & binding; 3/4 yd backing; 3/4 yd batting.
