A Mama bear and cubs continue their block of the month adventure in this August block, soaring in hot air balloons. This August block is part of the 12 Months of Happy Block of the Month set by McKenna Ryan. Each block can be sewn up on its own as an individual wall hanging, grouped as a seasonal arrangement or you can combine the entire collection to create a wonderful all year quilt. Material requirements include: 1/2 yd for background; (3) assorted 1/4 yd fabric pieces for balloons, (21) assorted 1/8 yd pieces for balloons, baskets, bears and shopping bag. Material requirements include: 1/8 yd inner border; 1/2 yd outer border; 3/4 yd for backing; 34" x 26" piece of batting; 1-1/4 yds 12" wide lightweight fusible web.
