The boot-length reversible coat is perfect for inventive fabric combinations. It features a quilted or trapunto border at the hem, neckline, and front opening. Instructions for quilting and trapunto are included. Suggested fabrics: Medium-weight, soft fabrics such as broadcloth, silk, linen, or lightweight wool. The coat's segmented design makes it easy to work in small pieces of your treasured handwoven or vintage fabrics. Fabric requirements for pre-quilted coat with pre-quilted borders: 4 1/2 yds of 45" pre-quilted fabric or 1 2/3 unquilted fabric all widths. Fabric requirements for pre-quilted coat with quilted or trapunto borders: 3 1/2 yds of 45" pre-quilted fabric or 3 1/3 yds of unquilted fabric all widths.
