This retro quilt pattern is sure to delight anyone with nostalgic feelings for the 1950's and had mid-century modern tastes! Supply list: large scraps of 9-10 different cream to gray fabrics for the backgrounds, large scraps of 12 different light pink fabrics for the underlays of the Cadillac and seat. These fabrics need to be mostly solid or fabrics with a slight print. Batiks work well, large scraps of 12 - 14 different silver, gray and black and cream fabrics for the bumper, lights, grill, rims, wheel well, tires and license plate holder, and 1 brown for the steering wheel, large scraps of 23 - 25 different cuttable fabrics for the Cadillac and quilt background. These cuttables need to coordinate with the other fabrics chosen for the collage and not be too overpowering. Flowers, butterflies, leaves and vines all work well. You will need light pink flowers with a bit of white in them for the Cadillac. 2 yards of 24" wide steam and Seam fusible, Serrated medium handle scissors, Goddess 17 3/4" c 24" applique pressing sheet, 1 1/2 yards of Pattern Ease foundation, 6" x WOF of fabric for binging, #2 pencil.
