The Arenite Pants are the luxuriously deep-pocketed, slouchy, high-waisted pants of your dreams. Versatile and cozy, the pattern includes three legs finishing options - a knit cuff, a stretchy woven cuff, or a dressier hem. Learn to sew French seams, flat-felled seams and a comfortable, non-twist stretch waistband with this advanced-beginner pattern. The fit is very forgiving and is recommended for woven fabrics with a nice drape such as rayon challis, tencel twill, or silk noil. Material requirements: 45" wide fabric - 4 1/8 yds sizes 0-12 & 4 1/4 yds sizes 14-24; 54" wide fabric - 3 2/3 yds all sizes. Knit cuff version: 1/2 yd knit fabric with Lycra or spandex.
