This is an easy, adorable quilt pattern! Use a group of llamas on your quilt or choose just one, placed strategically, to create a whimsical and beautiful quilt. Add as much or as little embroidery and embellishments as you wish: pom-poms, rickrack, beads or nothing at all. Anything goes. Only the eyelashes are a must and those you can even draw on with a permanent marker, if embroidery is not your thing. Fabric requirements: Baby - (1) 4 1/2" x 8 1/2" fabric for the saddle, 1/6 yd or 1 fat quarter for the llama, 1 1/3 yds background, 1 1/3 yds backing, 3/8 yd binding; Throw with 9 llama blocks - (9) 4 1/2" x 8 1/2" pieces for the saddles, (9) 1/6 yd or 1 fat quarter for llamas, 3 yds background, 3 2/3 yds backing, 1/2 yd binding. If using fat quarters there will be enough left from each llama block to make a scrappy binding.
