This pattern is a unique piece of art, just as your own finished wall hanging will be! The project is made by fusing individually selected pieces of a variety of prints and florals to a lightweight base cloth in a beautiful arrangement all your own. Laura Heine has included detailed instructions about her technique to guide you through the process. Full-size pattern is included. Material requirements include: Background - 6" to 10" square of 14 different fabrics, light cream to very light pinks with a slight print. Scripts and sewing prints work great; Sewing Machine - 6" squares of about 8 different black fabrics. These fabrics can have a slight print to them; 11" square of dark floral motif for accents on the machine; 6" square of 2-3 different floral fabrics for accents on the machine; 9-10" square of a fabric for the base of the sewing machine; Quilt - 10" square or more for the primary underlay of the quilt; Cuttables (for the quilt, background, sewing machine) - 12" x 11" of 2 different large florals, 6" x 11" of about 10 different medium scale floral motifs, and 6" squares of about 4-5 different floral small to medium scale motifs for the quilt. Look for fabrics with fun sewing motifs to cut such as scissors, pincushion and dress form; Thread - 6" square of 2 different fabrics for the thread; Table - 3" x 11" strips of 6 different yellow fabrics; Backing - 1 yard; Binding - 6" x WOF.
