This raw-edge applique pattern features 2 songbirds perched on a pine bough full of pine cones. Each block from this pattern collection can be sewn on its own as a piece of wall art, or you can combine the entire collection to create a wonderful 55 1/2" x 61 1/2" quilt with the finishing instruction included in the Block 8 - Aurora Dance pattern. Material requirements include: 1/2 yd for background and birds; 1/4 yd for branch; (6) 1/8 yd cuts for appliques and inner border; 1/2 yd for outer border (and binding); 3/4 yd for backing; 5/8 yd of 18" wide lightweight fusible web; 26 1/2" x 23 1/4" piece of batting (for wall hanging size only). 'A Hymn for Her' quilt pattern from the 'Simply Calling Me Home' collection by McKenna Ryan, finished size is about 20-1/2" x 17-1/4".
