This Two Fabric Applique double dragonfly design is elegantly simple! Just lay the applique fabric on top of the background fabric, and cut away the parts of the applique fabric that you don't need, exposing the background fabric! No templates, no numbering system, no positioning of small pieces to create the design. What could be easier? Materials Needed: 3/4 yd (or 1 yd if used to bind the quilt) background fabric; 3/4 yd (or 1 yd if used to bind the quilt) applique fabric; approximately 28" x 40" backing fabric; applique thread to match the applique fabric; quilting thread of choice; basting thread; 27" x 39" batting; 24" x 36" double-sided fusible web. 'Dragonflies in Flight' wall hanging pattern, finished size is about 24" x 36", designed by Nancy Lee Chong.
