This pattern is a unique piece of art, just as your own finished quilt will be! Mr. Peabody the grasshopper is made by fusing individually selected and fussy-cut scraps of a variety of prints to a patchwork ground. Laura Heine has included detailed instructions about her technique to guide you through the process. Full-size pattern is included. Material requirements include: (18) different 4" x 11" pieces, (1) 8" x 11" and (1) 12" x 11" piece for background; (8) 4" x 11" green pieces for grasshopper; 5" x WOF for wings; 8" x 11" for pants; 6" x 11" for vest; (3) different 6" x 11" cuttable flower prints; assorted scraps for remaining appliques; 6 1/2 yds of 12" Steam a Seam; 3/4 yd Pattern Ease foundation. 1 yd backing; 6" x WOF for binding. 'Mr. Peabody (The Grasshopper)' quilt pattern by Laura Heine of Fiberworks inc. Finished size is about 24" x 36".
