This pattern is a unique piece of art, just as your own finished quilt will be! The whale is made by fusing individually selected fussy-cut fabrics to a lightweight base cloth in a beautiful arrangement all your own. Laura Heine has included detailed instructions about her technique to guide you through the process. Full-size pattern is included. Material requirements include: at least (16) fabrics for whale about 6" x 11" each; at least (20) fabrics for water about 12" x 11"; a variety of 6" scraps with cuttable motifs; 8 yds of 24" wide Steam a Seam 2; 1 1/4 yds of Pattern Ease; 1 1/2 yds backing and batting; 1/4 yd binding.
