This Two Fabric Applique sewing machine design is elegantly simple! Just lay the applique fabric on top of the background fabric, and cut away the parts of the applique fabric that you don't need, exposing the background fabric! No templates, no numbering system, no positioning of small pieces to create the design. What could be easier? Materials Needed: 3/4 yd background fabric (or 1 yd if used to bind the quilt); 3/4 yd applique fabric(or 1 yd if used to bind the quilt); 3/4 yd backing fabric; or optional 39" x 27" batting; 39" x 27" double-sided fusible web. 'My First Sewing Machine' quilt pattern, finished size is about 36" x 24", designed by Connie Johnson Sayler.
