This pattern is a unique piece of art, just as your own finished quilt will turn out to be! The Piano pattern is made by fusing individually selected fussy-cut flowers to a lightweight base cloth in a beautiful arrangement all your own. Laura Heine has included detailed instructions about her technique to guide you through the process. Full size pattern is included. Material requirements include: 24" x WOF fabric for inside face of piano lid; 16" x 14" Main fabric for piano; 15" x 11" of (9) fabrics for piano; 3" x 22" Of (2) fabrics for long sections of piano; 6" x 22" of (2)fabrics for floral accents; 9" x 22" of piano key fabric or substitute to make your own keys; 12" x 7" for trim on music desk; 9" x 22" for piano bench; 12" x 11" of multi-floral fabric for accents; 1/2 yard total of (4) fabrics for floor; 2/3 yard total of 7 fabrics for wall background; scraps and small pieces of (15+) cuttable fabrics with floral and musical motifs; scraps of cuttable butterflies or moths; 9" x WOF for single fold binding; 1 1/4 yard of pattern ease foundation; 4 yards of 24" wide Steam a Seam 2; 1 1/2 yard of backing fabric.
