This beautiful thread from Aurifil is long staple mercerized Egyptian cotton, giving it both strength and a soft sheen. The thick 12 wt opens up our sewing to more creative possibilities. Use for hand embroidery as a substitute for stranded threads, big stitch quilting and bobbin lace gimp or other embellishments.
